Ever heard of Oxwhite, the hype of getting a high quality white shirt for only RM69 and at a point of time, there was this deal with RM0.99 to get the shirt. Crazy and irresistible offer right? Well, this is a way to quickly acquire customer and there’s a hidden strategy behind all these hype. It requires a lot of testing and validation before the founder, CK could get to this point.
Personally, I never think of such strategy to acquire customer and went for the traditional way which is like one by one accumulate and inviting friends to follow the business page. It is terribly slow and it may take years to hit even 10,000 followers which is consider a reasonable steady and established page. So I’m wondering how can I gain that much followers at such a short time but with minimal cost too. That’s where things get interesting after going through the strategy shared by the founder and I really learned some mind blowing perspective.
Gotta say, it is about being clear on what we want to get and how accurate are we at the judgement. Taking a calculated risk and taking an emotional judgement that it will work is a two totally different thing. One could led you to the million dollar bucket while the other could led you to zero or even negative! Thus,we are all reminded that to always test and validate the idea by working out a minimal viable product, survey to see how things work. Then, only we go all in with that best solution we tested.
There are more things that I get from the MasterClass and this is just a part of it. Can’t wait to implement the skill learned from the class into the business and see how it turns out.
