The phenomenon of floating garbage crash on the coast of Muara Angke or in several coastal islands in the Thousand Islands in this particular month is actually happening. Thirteen rivers of estuary in Jakarta bay carry household garbage disposed of by irresponsible people to the river. The volume of river waste carrying fluctuates, as the flood season increases. There are three kinds of garbage carried over the river, first floating trashes such as bottles / plastic, styrofoam, wooden branches etc .. The second type of heavy-duty rubbish drifted over the river flows, and the third of the garbage at the bottom of the river washed away with the mud. All three types of river waste all carried over to the bay of Jakarta. Once analyzed the volume of garbage was rata2 per year about 100 tons / day brought to the estuary and some are caught / left in the river body. The river's garbage is welcomed by the ocean currents that have a certain pattern, depending on the season, in the westerly wind season the current pattern will change too .. Jakarta Bay is filled with garbage not only from the 13 rivers, rarely ship, boat and boat operating in the bay of Jakarta also violate littering to increase the volume of marine waste because krn Jakarta is the international, national and local shipping line destination, thousands of ships passing and mooring in the bay of Jkt. Not to mention the thousands of charts and boat fishermen scattered in this bay also helped add a little volume of marine waste. Actually, if the final sdh is a study of ocean bay current behavior of Jakarta Dinas LH DKI with related parties can utilize the position of garbage collecting with nets and also make land trap marine waste where marine waste is often stranded on the beaches of the island / land brought by the seasonal ocean currents tsb ... ..... Hopefully research with ocean currents experts and coastal rubbish experts bbrpeen yr can be developed, maybe also by using the help of remote sensing satelite to study the current pattern in the bay of Jakarta .. ..... Handling of garbage in interchangeable river done by redu
cing the use of bar screen and at sea / coast by crawling wear nets range and exploiting ocean currents by building the location of trash trap on the beach ....
.... Lbh perfect again if made MP road map handling junk sea Jakarta which integrated with garbage handling in water bodies in the main dlsb ..
...... Bravo teman2 LH DKI Jakarta .... hayo we make blue sea back bay ........
Responding to reports from the public about garbage accumulating in Muara Angke, Pluit. We are together with the LH Office to move cleanly. Over the past few days already collected more than 50 tons of waste. Because of its location which is difficult to reach heavy equipment, then the cleaning is done manually. Once collected, garbage is transported by boat and waiting for garbage trucks at port.
We see most of these garbage from everyday items. Like plastic waste, bottle of drink, to wood. Piling up to 2.5 meters thick. Garbage allegedly collected since late December because of the west wind. Though the plan of this area will be used for mangrove land and fish ponds.
Appreciation to 400 officers from Dinas LH, Dinas SDA, TNI, PolAir and all levels who have and will work extra few days ahead. It is estimated there are 50 tons of waste that has not been cleaned.
We will finish soon. Hopefully in one week it's clean again. After that, the rivers will be fitted with trash net to avoid piling up downstream.
