Today marks my 2nd year on Steemit so..... Happy Steemit Birthday to me!

I am not new to blogging since my account on Google has been running since July of 2012. A friend of mine Hive account@otom, whom I met in another platform invited me to join Steemit and together as newbies we were threading the Steemit jungle. We did not have mentors, we learned on our own the mechanics of blogging in Steemit as in learning by doing.

Then, we met Hive account@trisun who was at that time setting-up his page called Steemit Powerup, we joined him and co-set-up the page as well as the group chat by the same name. It was the three of us who administered SPP and mentored newbies from the Philippines. While other Steemit Groups already vanished, SPP is still alive and kicking til now. Within the two years that I have been here, I have lots of fun since the very beginning and I came to know lots of amazing Steemians.
