Background Lake Toba was formed due to volcanic eruptions that released 2,800 km of cubic eruption material, which causes the crater to gradually fill with water in the lake.
In the middle of Lake Toba there is an island called Samosir. The island is close to the Singapore area and has several villages with incredible natural attractions, such as mountains and waterfalls.
