In a conversation of Ki Hadjar Dewantara with Ki Soedarminto (Chairman of the Majelis Luhur Tamansiswa) it was stated that he wanted a place to rest.
Ki Soedarminto draws the conclusion that the resting place ever proposed by Ki Hadjar Dewantara is a tomb of Tamansiswa family. The idea of a tomb for the Tamansiswa family was presented at the 1952 General Student Park Congress. Congress approved the idea.
