When the new habit has been activated, you need at least 30days to stay on it. Here it is clear that your entire life should be structured around carving out time every day to consistently do it.
- Usher in Your New Habit discovered to An Established Habit
This point reveals that you need to find a habit you already consistently do and then anchor it with a new behavior
- Take Baby Step
When you start building you don't start from the roof, you start by laying the foundation. Grave making is the construction that begins from the top downward. Make micro-commitments that are impossible to fail and focus on small wins. This will motivate you to continue in your be discovery
- Obstacle Require plan, Make a plan for it
If I check the weather and its raining, then I will walk out of the gym instead
- Habit needs accountability, Create it
Never underestimate the power of social approval. Track your efforts and make public declarations about your new habit.
- Reward Important Milestones
Focus on building a reward system into the process so that you can celebrate the successful completion of your goals.
- Build a New Identity
Here we are you new habit form you. Your habit turn to your action, your action becomes your character and this is you. From the overview of activation of your new habit, your doing the habit everyone is not actually the basis of habit formation but it is the reflection of who you are on the inside.
On the concluding part...
Habit formation comes with identification, activation, and reflection. If all your activity as a result of your new habit discovery does not reflect who you are on the inside, the new habit you discovered has not been formed. Formation of a new habit is based on this three factors.
