Hi dear Steemians,
Every time when we have nice sunny weather here my hubby, dreams about his childhood Love, Ameland. I think the Dutch people and many German one will just smile, because I think many of them have been at least once to this beautiful Netherlander’s Island, this is summer paradise for children and many schools in both countries still sending the kids for summer camps there.
The main transport there is bicycle, there are many nice cafes on beaches and of course “Frikandel speciaal en een Patat met Mayo”, Hmmm.. very delicious!
During summer day we talk often about that, having laugh and think that may be once we retire we will buy a house there and move completely to Ameland.
Therefore my painting today I dedicated today to a lonely boat waiting for high tide.
