I've had fun going through my archives to find suitable images to submit for this weeks contest by Hive account@derangedvisions. After putting a few photos aside, I then found it difficult to pick the one I liked best, but in the end, my Golden Reflections capture was my first choice. I have included other images rather randomly to show the variety of surfaces where reflections are evident.
The first one is titled, 'Golden Reflections.' It was captured at Woody Point on the Redcliffe Peninsula in Queensland, Australia. The setting sun cast Golden Reflections across the sea, leaving a lasting impression.
Twin Mirror Reflections.
A variety of items in the original Butter Factory in Bellingen, New south Wales retail store were clearly reflected in these two round mirrors.
Eastern Water Dragon.
The body of this irate Eastern Water dragon was reflected in the shallow waters of a pond. He wasn't too happy about me taking his photo; hence the frown!
Global Reflections.
The windows from the ship, 'Radiance of the Seas,' were reflected on the shiny surface of this large globe situated in the Oh, so elegant and plush Schooner Bar.
Brass Statue.
Arched walls in a Cathedral were reflected in the middle of this awesome brass statue. So ornate!
Wine Shop Reflections.
The reflection of a customer paying for his wine after a tantalizing wine tasting session in the Barossa Valley, south Australia blends in with the rural scene in the background which is also reflected in the large glass cabinet. Check out the size of that monster bottle of wine.
Wedding Chapel Reflections.
The tiles of the floor in this wedding chapel are so glossy, the furniture is clearly reflected across the surface.
City Lights.
Bright city lights created an amazing show across the Brisbane river in Queensland, Australia. Different coloured lights are used for specific occasions.
