A weary traveler looking for a shade
Saw a tree with a bucket and spade
He sat and thought but nothing is said
He waited, on the verdant grass he laid
Memories running on his mind
Like a casette tape on rewind
Of his beloved he could not find
His youthful days he is remind
Distant days like speck of dust
His weary mind starting to rust
Fallen leaves blown by a gust
A reminder of the love he'd lost
Pallid face that hides his pain
Of his strenght he did not regain
If only he could stood proudly again
He would forget all earthly gain
But for now he could only wait
Though he refuses to wait and sit
His journey will again begin in a bit
He steeled himself, his teeth he grit
