. The DMZ divides the Korean Peninsula into two halves, North and South Korea. This region suffered most during the war, and it was here in 1953 that a truce was signed. Now the Demilitarized Zone is open to tourists who can learn more about the Korean War.
Note: It is necessary to have a passport with you. Recommended comfortable shoes.
After lunch we will visit the Buddhist temple of Jogyesa (the heart of Korean Zen Buddhism). We are waiting for a welcoming ceremony and a tour of the temple, followed by a tea ceremony with monks, meditation and a master class on making lotuses. After visiting the temple of Choges we return to the hotel for a short rest.
In the evening - cruise on the river Hagan. Gala dinner, live music and beautiful landscapes are the best way to complete a trip to South Korea.
The day after breakfast, transfer to the airport for departure home.
