Fresh Water Eel
>This one eel is ready since birth to face the rigors of life in the water. After hatching in the Sargasso sea, these eels swim towards a number of freshwater rivers in England and on the east coast of North America. On the way, their kidneys will adapt to the water salinity level. When it comes time to lay eggs, the freshwater eel kidney will return to its original state.
