Yesterday I attended the Jaro fiesta. I have relatives there. It has been 5 yrs since the last time I went. Now that I have a car I could go. My mother was planning to go to but she changed her mind last minute. So I just went to represent my family.
Every year they have a grand procession and parade but this year they did not have a Queen of Jaro because of political reasons. But they still had the religious procession.
Since my cousin’s house is in the path of the procession I was able to watch it comfortable. Here are some pictures I too from the inside sonthere is a gate.
Of course all students of religious schools have to attend and join the procession.
Wearing identical costumes and even earrings carrying the religious pictures.
The seminarians.
The statue of the Holy Family carriage.
The main patron saint Ou Lady of The Candles.
I was able to have lunch at one cousin and dinner at another.
