Nintendo has just released its first trimester financial report in this fiscal year, including the sales data of its jagoan console, the Switch.
As of June 30, there were 19.67 million Switch units sold, and it is currently possible that sales have exceeded 20 million units. Nintendo predicts it will sell 20 million units of other Switches from April 2018 to March 2019.
So far, the Japanese company has sold 1.88 million units, precisely for three months since April 2018. Compared to the same period a year earlier, this sales figure is slightly smaller, but sales are predicted to soar in the upcoming holiday season.
In total, Nintendo made an operating profit of 30.5 billion yen from a total of 168 billion yen in revenue this quarter. It was up 88.4% and 9.1% over the same period last year

While the matter of game sales, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has penetrated the sales of 10 million units, accompanying Super Mario Odyssey who had previously penetrated the number. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is expected to reach the same sales figures in the coming quarters.
