After searching around for a bit for an alternative to YouTube, I found D.tube. Wondering what this was all about, I also saw you could sign up with Hive.
So what is Hive? I asked myself. After researching for a bit, not knowing anything about blockchains, crypto or anything of the like, I thought why the hell not; I signed up.
Then, after looking through the ecosystem, I found Esteem. It seems to be quite the community that fits all my interests. Decentralized, secure, etc. Though I am still left with some questions, specifically concerning tokens.
There is Hive, Hive Power, Hive Dollars and ESTM. How are all of these interconnected? What are they used for, and what does it all mean? I cannot seem to find any good documentation that describes all of this for me.
Please, if anybody has an answer for me, let's get a conversation going so I can get better prepared for this new adventure.
