Microsoft offers Ethereum-based products that could see broad utilization across industries and speed mass adoption. An Ethereum-based project run by Bank of America (BofA) and Microsoft was highlighted at a New York demo, along with two others.
A Microsoft-BofA project was previously mentioned a year ago and discussed letters of credit. The letters can be used by Microsoft customers to give to vendors who desire a payment guarantee. But the letters could be encoded on a blockchain facility.
Last week at the Microsoft Digital Difference adoption of blockchain harbingered the use of various aspects of blockchain by numerous companies working with Microsoft.
“Create a digital culture,” Microsoft’s Judson Althoff said in a post on the Digital Difference site. “Start now or risk getting left behind.”
