It never was more exciting than today to look at the total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies. While Bitcoin developers and miners on the whole are still stuck on a treadmill with the everlasting "Segregated Witness vs. Emergent Consensus" dispute, altcoins like Ethereum (continuous) and Ripple (at phases) capture more and more percentage of the total crypto-market capitalization.
The Bitcoin rate itself stays unimpressed by this - yet. But the current market evolutiuon should be a clearly warning shot for the both discordant Bitcoin parties. My personal opinion for quite some time: it isn't bad if there exists a few well-etablished and stable "#2, #3.. coins" in addition to Bitcoin. But what will happen of one of them really go about outperform Bitcoin in future? How do you see the current situation? I really would be curious on a few other opinions.
Thank you for your attention and 'sorry' for my rookie English.
