There is life before ICO, my friends. I mean, if you're a blockchain based business and you want to raise funds, you can do it before an ICO. Or, to be more specific, you can raise money to fund an ICO.
Interesting, huh?
Seriously now, Sun Exchange, a blockchain based business which helps people sell solar power, just raised $1,6 millions from private funds like Kalon Ventures Capital, Network Society Ventures and startup accelerators BoostVC, Techstars and Powerhouse. The story was published a few hours ago on Ventureburn but apparently the deal was signed a couple of months ago.
Beyond the business - which really is a nice one, I'm in love with all that spells "alternative energy" - the fact that they raised money from private investors in order to fund an ICO on the Ethereum blockchain kinda blew my mind.
All in all, I look forward to this, it really is a very interesting project.
