Audi introduced the new electric car concept Gran Turismo Audi e-tron Sportback. The powerful Audi can travel 500 kilometers on a single charge. In the e-tron Sportback, which has an exciting design, the side mirrors have been replaced by small cameras. Thanks to this technology, which reduces air friction and wind noise, the usual blind spot problem in the side mirrors is completely removed.
At the Auto Shanghai auto show held in China, Audi brought out a versatile new concept car vitrine. The four-door Gran Turismo Audi e-tron Sportback is powered by a 320 kW electric motor. The design language of the car brings together classic Audi lines with a series of groundbreaking details, creating a stunning architecture specially designed for the technology and electric car concept.
It reaches 100 kilometers in 4.5 seconds
The Audi e-tron Sportback's drive system consists of a total of three electric motors, one front and two back acoustics, all of which will be applied to all fully electric Audi models in the future, giving the high-performance coupé otomobile quattro four-wheel drive system. The system produces 320 kW (429 hp) and outputs 370 kW (496 hp) with turbocharging, allowing the car to go from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour (62.1 miles per hour) in just 4.5 seconds.
The car has a total range of 500 kilometres (310.7 miles) (NEDC) thanks to a 95 kilowatt hour energy-efficient battery. As seen in the e-tron quattro concept earlier, the liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery of this technology concept lies between the two axes just below the passenger compartment. This position of the battery, which draws down the center of gravity of the car, also brings the load distribution between the front and rear axles to 52:48, giving this sporty SUV superior driving dynamics and safety compared to the competitors in the segment. The car's battery is charged with the Combined Charging System, which has two inputs for alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC).
