The fight for the Spitzenkandidat seat has become so shameless. At the moment Timmerman is most likely to recieve the Spitzenkandidat position, though all countries are currently fighting for their own interest not the European interest.
I was quite disappointment that Europeans had only one vote and could not vote directly for the Spitzenkandidat. If I could vote now i would probably vote Vesteger.
Just like most Danes she is very much for protecting the climate. Also her view on capitalism is supporting the growth of competition and not like in France have the government support monopolies that overcharge the customers. Since Denmark does not have a big weapon industry I would hope since she stands for human rights, that she would not go easy on German, French and British weapon exports that pollute the peace in the Middle East.
That she can see with so much foresight that a competitive market is the best way to bring forth innovation proofs that she is qualified for the job.
I was very dissapointed that the Spitzenkandidat from Germany Weber did not seem qualified at all. It almost seemed like he got this position through Vitamin B (the vitamin that should be C in English for connections but in German its Beziehung).
