I used to be on the evangelion board back in the day. This one mod lost her manners for a while ( not taking her psychiatric meds and abusing cold medicine I would later learn) and started posting her fanfiction as fact and getting the n00bs to believe her. I was always half a hair from being banned for starting up to her. She kept saying she had proof ( she didnt there was an obscure eva video game supposdly made from notes from giax studios it had nothing to support her bs). Guy that owned the place let her get away with it because they were friends irl and he thought she might hurt herself if he shut her down. She came around sooner or later after her parents made her get on her meds again, but never admitted she did anything wrong. I liked that board and those people it sucked to leave but I did and i'm better for it. I got way to invested in the whole mess. Fandom should be fun if it isn't find a way to make it fun or leave.
