Hello all and this is 
Unfortunately, we were not able to meet the matron of the orphanage because she had to take the proprietor to the hospital who was not feeling well. Not withstandind, she left one of the staff to welcome and run the day with us. The staff was Pastor Leonard who has worked with the orphanage for 13yrs.
He also gave us a brief history of the orphanage.
According to Pastor Leonard, MISSPA Orphanage was founded in 2004 by a spanish missionary innitiative called MISSPA that had a mission in central Africa to accommodate and care for the homeless kids. It started off with 25kids at the time but so far over 400kids have passed through MISSPA Orphanage and 129kids are currently registered at MISSPA Orphanage as of date.
The orphanage has a primary school structure for the younger kids and used to have a secondary school facility but the program was closed due to financial constraints. So they elderly kids school in public secondary schools. Two of their kids are currently in the university and soon to graduate.
It was a great and fun filled day as we made the children smile and seeing them that happy just motivated me to stick to this path even more. Their smiles and laughters made me fulfilled and filled with so much joy that i can hardly explain.
The children sang so beautifully for us, prayed for us and blessed us for what we did for them. I was so happy and blessed by the kids. It was such a great atmosphere. They also displayed their handiwork skills and creations and they items were gorgeous.
The day ended with us presenting all what we brought for them and it was pictures pictures pictures another activity that was fun filled.
That was it in a nutshell and what a great day it was for GLOW Community. We accomplished our objectives and gradually we are moving towards achieving our vision
