Here are some pictures of my trip last summer to one of the most sketchiest places I have ever been to. This psychiatric hospital was open in the 1950s and consisted over 20 seperate buildings. Police typically catch a lot of explorers and fine them upwards of 500 dollars for trespassing. The place was covered in graffiti and asbestos. While the place was open, there were many reported cases of assault, theft, racism, neglect, and rape that were common; patients sometimes died during struggles with the hospital staff, or at the hands of fellow patients.
The hospital was almost completely self-sufficient with its own laundry, kitchen, gymnasium, movie theater, swimming pool, and bowling alley, powered by a steam plant which supplied electricity and heat through a network of underground tunnels.
While going through the buildings I heard many different sounds that weren't necessarily normal and at times even voices. The sketchiest part was definitely going through the underground tunnels with only a flashlight. Overall it was definitely a sketch experience and I dont plan on going back anytime soon. Here is a video of the place if your interested, thanks for the read :)
