We almost arrived in Londrina (a city close to where Bianca’s family lives) and this morning I forgot we booked a hotel here.
But I’m glad we did and I also remember the reason now.
It’s dark here on the roads and I mean real dark. Only the headlights of your car will light your way.
This is total opposite of the Netherlands where almost all roads have light posts.
It’s only an hour drive to Bianca’s city from Londrina but we thought best to do it in daylight.
The trip in the bus to Londrina was long but pleasant.
The bus stops plenty of times to pick and drop of passengers and half way you get an opportunity to eat at a roadside restaurant called Graal.
You have to hurry though cause they only give you 20 minutes and nobody is going to wait for you here if you are late :)
I had a nice plate with rice and beans.
We sat in front of the bus the whole trip so we had nice view of the scenery which is stunning.
There is so much ‘space here’ it’s hard to explain the feeling.
I did of course nap and snored....Bianca even made a video...(it wasn’t great).
I can’t wait to get in the hotel and find a cold beverage somewhere :)
