Eyes are one of the most vital Organs of the Human body. Eyes are denoted as organ of sight.
It is because of these Eyes that we actually manage to see and enjoy all the happenings around us.
So it becomes our utmost duty to make our eyes healthy because it sets the foundation of healthy body.
Basic Components:-
The Basic Components of eyes include the following:-
- Cornea
- Pupil
- Iris
- Lens
- Retina
- Macula
- Optic nerve
- Choroid
- Vitreous
The cornea is the clear front window of the eye that transmits and focuses lights into eye.

Yoga Exercises for Eyes:-
- BLINKING EXERCISE
Methods:
- Sit Comfortable With your Eyes Open
- Blink around 10 times very quickly.
- Close your Eyes for 20 seconds.
- Repeat this exercise for five times.
Believe me this is a magical exercise for your eyes which helps your eyes nourishes itself, relaxes the eye muscles and prevent dry eyes.
- PALMING EXERCISE
Methods:
- Sit comfortable, and close your eyes.
- Rub the Palms of your hands vigorously , until they become warm
- Place your hands gently to your close eye lids.
- Feel the warmth of your palms being transferred onto the eyes and the eye muscles relaxing.
- Stay in the firm position until your eyes absorbs the heat completely.
- Keep the eyes close while lower the hands.
- Repeat the process again for five times.
- SIDEWAYS VIEWING EXERCISE
- So now you want to stretch your eye muscles.
- Move your eyes slowly from side to side and then all the way around the circle.
- If you find it difficult, then use your finger and move it in a circle and let your eyes follow.
- Repeat the exercise about 20 times.
If we all can spare few minutes from our busy and hectic schedule and follow the yoga exercises in our daily routine, then we can definitely add more years in our life.
