Remember how independent media used to have huge reach on Facebook and was able to share truth and make actual change? Think #NoWarWithSyria 2013..

It is curious timing then that the social media giant has ramped up its efforts to crush independent voices at the same moment the military is taking over the U.S. government, anti-Russian propaganda is spinning out of control, the U.S. is on the verge of world war in a handful of arenas, our local police forces are becoming more militarized by the minute.. while nearly everyone is distracted by gun control.

You're already here on Steemit, so you're ahead of the game. But, please, make a point to continue finding independent voices and connect with them immediately on a variety of platforms. Support them if you can. And tell your friends. All of your friends. All of the time.

Alternative voices are needed now more than ever. The U.S. is spinning out of control and if you're not on the right side of history for this one there may be no future.
