I’m part of a closed and secret group on Facebook. This group is purely for fun, and mostly posting and sharing hilarious, offensive, inappropriate memes and roasting each other. Many of us have created secondary FB accounts after repeatedly getting banned or even having our account completely deleted. I lost all the memories of my kids in the form of pictures and posts when my account was permanently deleted by the over zealous Facebook content Nazis.
Right now I’m exploring and learning about steemit. I’m looking for an alternative option for our group to connect with each other and share the memes, videos, and even to rail on each other when it’s time to roast one of us. It’s kinda hard to have a group text when you have over 1000 people in your group, and that’s with keeping the group restricted to local and conducting a few checks prior to admitting a new member.
I’m hopeful steemit will work for what we are looking for, but I’m also definitely open to other suggestions if you know of something that might work out better for us. I learned a lesson about relying on the integrity of Facebook when my
account was deleted without warning, so there’s no love lost from me. I’m excited to check out steemit and hopefully get away from Facebook altogether. This meme was grabbed somewhere from Facebook, I don’t know the original source.
