Snopes is the leading fact checker, but it has become increasingly clear that they are a political organization, and their fact checking cannot be trusted. Two similar photos were analyzed, and the photo promoted my the left was judged to be miscaptioned, while the photo pushed by the right was judged to be false. This has large implications, especially on social media.
