Come on... Time to Go...

"Come on... wake up. It's time to go..." he whispered early in the morning as he pulled her from her sleep. "Wha-a-aa-aa-a-t?...." She was barely awake and did not want to open her eyes. They were on a road trip for a random adventure.

They were up until 1 am two nights in a row and her body is yearning for a longer snooze time but then, he is such a tease! "Please, let me sleep a bit more..." she pleaded, her voice nearly inaudible. Even talking seems a heavy chore.

He kissed her in the forehead and gently closed the car's door, only to open it again a few minutes later and bother her once more.

"You do not want to miss what I'm going to show you!" There was excitement in his voice. "You will love it! And you will blame me if you'd only see it in pictures" he went on, giving her back a rub just to wake her up.

"It better be good or..." she warned, letting out a huge yawn as she stretched her arms out like she always does each time she's up from her sleep. She truly needed some more rest but she couldn't help getting curious about what it is that's making him insist she should wake up already.

"Let's go quickly or it will be gone very soon!" he said anxiously as he pulled her up from the airbed, wrapped the thin blanket around her and helped her out of the car. She sensed the rush in his pace so she didn't say a word and just followed his lead.

"Wow..." she was stunned when she looked around after a very short while.

Aah, that is why he bothered her even when he knows she badly needed the snooze. "This is just heavenly..." her gaze fixed on the captivating view before their eyes.

Although that kind of view is common in the mountains, every sight seems different to her. There is nothing more than waking up to a sea of clouds and the sun shining through.

And so they watched quietly, taking in the bliss the moment has for them. She glanced at him with so much gratitude. He sure knows how to value even the little things that make her heart flutter. She could not ask for more...
