The Faithful God in an Uncertain World
God's faithfulness is the answer to uncertainties.
In today's world there are many uncertainties. This is the time to trust in God's faithfulness.
"They will not be ashamed in bad weather, and in the days of famine they will be satisfied." - Psalms 37:19
During these times you cannot trust the strength of your faith. You must trust the strength of God's faithfulness.
Faithful means being full of faith, supporting, trusting. God is committed to His word, and His people do what He says ...
“I will sing of the mercies of Jehovah perpetually; from generation to generation I will make your fidelity known with my mouth ”. - Psalms 89: 1
"Know, then, that Jehovah your God is God, faithful God, who keeps the covenant and mercy to those who love him and keep his commandments, up to a thousand generations." - Deuteronomy 7: 9
When you went through low moments, God was with you, when you were in high moments, He was still with you.
God has shown His faithfulness in:
- Its consistency
God has constantly set you free, provided and protected you.
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever." - Hebrews 13: 8
- His love
God's love is infallible and endless.
“If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful; He can not deny himself". - 2 Timothy 2:13
God will be with you and will support you. Although you have been unfaithful, He is still faithful. If you know that you have not been well with God, you must repent.
“No temptation has overtaken you that is not human; but faithful is God, who will not allow you to be tempted more than you can resist, but will also give the way out together with the temptation, so that you can bear. "
1 Corinthians 10:13
- His word
God has been and will continue to be faithful to His word and His promises. When you know that God is faithful, you will believe that he is capable of doing what he promised you.
"And the One who is powerful to do all things much more abundantly than we ask or understand, according to the power that works in us." - Ephesians 3:20
Take time each day to proclaim His faithfulness. Declare His promises and His word about your life.
"Announce your mercy in the morning, and your fidelity every night." - Psalms 92: 2
If you know that you have not been faithful to God, you must repent.
Repentance will bring you back to being right with God. When you are well with God you will see his goodness in your life.
"For all the promises of God are in him Yes, and in him Amen, through us, for the glory of God." - 2 Corinthians 1:20
