It's that time of year again and I couldn't resist taking photos around my yard. While taking this photo, I noticed the campfire smoke behind the maples and actually forgot to take photos when I later visited the neighbor's campfire.
We've been traveling quite a bit lately and we were surprised to come back to find that our lake had receded so much. We have had a very warm summer with little rainfall.
I'm not sure what this tree is, but I thought was very pretty for a photo.
This is our neighbor's old dock that we claimed simply to stop some erosion, plus, I think it's got a lot of character for photography :)
Bullrushes are normally deemed an invasive hard to kill weed, but I like the contrast they give when they are dying in the fall.
Hope you enjoyed my post because it was a beautiful day to take photos!!
