Today we went out for a day out at Gulliver's Kingdom, an amusement park that somehow got stuck in the 70's. It's still a good day out for the kids but many parts seem to be untouched by time. I think there is some sort of time bubble that surrounds Matlock as the town itself is a very strange place itself. While it may be strange you can't deny the beauty of the place.
One of our first places to visit was Lilliput Land and here we met dragons.
Next to this is the Lost Kingdom and to enter you walk past a full size T-Rex skeleton.
Around this area are large dinosaurs amongst the rides.
There are in total about 9 or 10 different themed areas starting from Bourbon Street at the bottom of the park to Western World at the top, the park is built on the side of the steep valley side so there are many steep paths or you can just take the chair-lift from the bottom to the top.
