Teddy

This is Teddy. Of the three we have, he's oldest at 18, plus. Teddy often sits on my desk, his fleece. But since Friday, he hasn't eaten. Listless, leaning against a heater. And for a few weeks longer, he's been struggling with a kidney and thyroid issue. Docs, tests, and more, and, he's still struggling.

He's lost some weight, and hasn't been himself, generally. Mainly sleeping and losing weight. But as I mentioned, struggling. And since Friday? no food. We've tried a taste of baby food, and finally, I slipped him a pat of butter to lick. ...and some chips he started licking too. been good with drinking plenty. And finally, after a week of appetite stimulant, we tried some anti nausea meds, he's starting to perk up.

In fact, today, a broke up some tuna into fine bits, and he had some. A little later, and I did it again. he's finally eating. And, getting away from that one heater. he's been around the house some. Able to sit elsewhere, and wander again. And walking a touch stronger.
