Bendecido día amigos , saludos y bendiciones para todos ustedes, aquí les presento está bebida bastante criolla , es el carato, es parte de nuestra cultura , suele prepararse y brindarse para los días de semana santa , es casi que obligatorio aquí en mi llano su preparación en cada hogar de este terruño tan querido , lleva como ingrediente principal es el papelón, aliños dulces como lo son los clavitos de olor ,anís dulce, anís estrellado, canela y guayabita, la harina es de maíz Cariaco , con ese maíz solo se elaboran platos dulces aquí en mi llano , y el maíz Yucatán lo usamos para las arepas y cuando está verde lo usamos para las cachapas muy famosas aquí en mi Venezuela, preparé este carato para ir a compartirlo con mis amigos y compañeros coralista , ayer nos reunimos para organizar una presentación que tendremos en el mes de mayo , ya que para ese mes se estaría celebrando los años de fundación de este municipio José Félix Ribas tucupido como parroquia, es una larga pero bonita la historia de este pueblo , de cómo y quién fue su fundador, lo cierto del caso es que ayer mis amigos coralistas se deleitaron con mi carato, gracias una vez más amigos míos , será hasta una próxima oportunidad que espero en Dios sean muchas ,Dios me los bendiga siempre.
