So my mom comes up with this amazing idea for moms and daughters to get together on a regular basis to hangout! She says we get so busy and forget to spend quality time with each other.
We invited a bunch of ladies and their moms to hangout with us for lunch and bowling. My mom offers to drive and picks me up. When I reach the car I find my mom dressed exactly like me! 😳😲😬😑😱
We both have on jean jackets, white shirts, jeans and black boots. I couldn’t believe it, I was dressed like my mother! 😅 She told me to take a picture so she could show my dad...thus the look I gave lol.
Although we joked around about it I have to admit my mom, age 61, is a beautiful classy and stylish woman. I get my style and sense of design from her. Growing up I didn’t realize how much like her I was...until now in my adult years. I am proud to call her my mom and am blessed that we live close by one another and are able to still spend time together. On top of that I am still learning from her. Those of you following my Sewing Class knows all about that.
I hope at age 61 I look as young and vibrant as she does! She eats healthy, workouts during the week and gets good rest. I do all of those except getting good rest which I can’t really help right now with having a 9 month old that likes to stay up until 2 am. 🤷🏽♀️😩
Anyhoo we had a good time hanging out with the ladies and everyone is excited to do it again. Our waitress took this photo of all of us together...
We had even more ladies show up after that, it was a great turn out! Yay for ’Ladies Time Out’! That’s what we’re calling our get together :D
