
According to the Royal Spanish Academy, in its Dictionary of the Spanish Language, friendship is defined as
Personal affection, pure and disinterested, shared with another person, born and strengthened with the deal.
Starting from this concept, the following question arises in me: do I really have friends?
A question that many of those who are reading this post at some point in their life have been made, and perhaps still have no answer.
The bible says in Proverbs 17:17
"A friend loves at all times, He was born to be a brother in adversity."
Undoubtedly, not all people are lucky enough to get a true friend, there are only a few individuals who possess that quality. However, despite the fact that the world has become capitalist and therefore materialistic, there are true friends.
People who sacrifice everything for you, who put your needs above their own and who live because you live, and prefer to die so that you live.
I do not know how many friends I should have to be happy, popular or just to feel loved and surrounded by many, but I'm sure that only a great friend is enough to tell everyone who devoted a minute in this reading, that amount does not matter It is human quality that fills the gaps that society often creates in us, gaps that sometimes the family can not fill.
"A faithful friend is a safe haven: he who finds, has found a treasure" Ecclesiasticus (6:14).
