Lounging By The Pool And Dinner In Victoria
After such on early start to the previous day when we travelled to Gozo, we decided to take it easy the next day. As the weather was lovely, we spent most of the day lounging by the pool.
In the afternoon we collected my mum and brought her back to the villa for coffee and cake.
In the evening we walked into Victoria and found a restaurant/cafe in St George's Square for dinner.
Sadly, I forgot to take photographs of the food.
I really need to get better at this but when I'm enjoying myself I'm just present to the moment. Taking pictures of food doesn't really feature.
So here you have a picture of us with our drinks. 😂
While we were waiting for our food we were entertained with a fire juggler.
Pretty nice backdrop, eh?
The food was absolutely delicious. I had lamb shank and the others had a traditional Maltese dish called Bragioli (beef olives), which I'm informed was also delicious.
We enjoyed a walk back to the villa through the town.
We also found a shortcut that took us across the valley, that you can see in the photographs in my earlier posts.
On go on then . . . here's a reminder. 😁
All in all a most enjoyable and relaxing day!
