What a story Hive account@chatterboxchick. Honestly I don't have the answer to your question,as I come from the Netherlands, and my only experience with CPS is there.. And I honestly don't know if this is the norm there too (tot have these visits until 21 years of age). I would try to find out somehow if this is true, I can't really imagine that you can't have the right to see your files actually. But of course this time frame of 4 months is very convenient for foster care and other agencies to try to disguise things. And my guess is , that they will tell you at that visit, that she will bring your file next visit (so another 6 months time frame). They are some sneaky bastards worldwide is my opinion. Maybe another member here in the community knows more about your rights in the UK. I truly hope so. Take care!
