Before starting I must make the declaration that I have not had any contact with Jemima Jones. My information source did not come from her. She in no way responsible for the creation of this content.
The story of baby Navaeha captured my heart. She was taken from her mother and father at 2 days old under the accusation that Jemima Jones, her mother, had been smoking marijuana.
In spite of tests proving otherwise, the hospital staff brought in armed police officers and forcibly removed the baby while her mama was breastfeeding her.
This is a clear abuse of authority on both the part of the Glendale Police Department, and the hospital staff of Banner Thunderbird Medical Center.
Jemima and the little Navaeha's father were in court on the 19th. They have jumped the hoops. They found a place to stay locally, though they have a home waiting for them with Jemima's sister in Colorado.
This little family was denied their request for immediate reunification with their newborn. As of right now this little girl is 16 days old, 14 of those days have been spent in foster care.
A beautiful, healthy and loved little baby ripped from her parents and forced to miss the crucial and important bonding with them in the first days of her life.
At the court, the judge was asked to put an unconstitutional gag-order on Jemima. She can no longer provide updates until the day her baby is returned.
The next court date is not until August and the GoFundMe campaign organized on behalf of the little family was shut down for providing information about the situation. There is a new campaign with all potential identifying information removed HERE if you would like to donate directly.
August. They have zero chance of getting their newborn back for at least 2 more months you guys and it breaks my gods damned heart.
Arizona CPS SHAME ON YOU!!!!
Arizona takes over 900 children from their familes every month, they lead the country in CPS corruption and legal kidnap!
Shame on every person involved in taking this baby from her family. Every nurse. Every court member. Every police officer and every security team member. Shame on Thunderbird Hospital.
It turns out this is not the first time they have taken a child under controversy. Another 2-day-old baby in was taken from it's parents from the same hospital in 2015.
In their case, the Glendale Police Department reported that there was no safety issues, no crimes or abuse committed.
But CPS still took their baby.
This is out of control. CPS cannot be allowed to take children at their choosing with such little oversight. What they have done to Jemima and baby Navaeha is disgusting and continuing to keep her from her mother is criminal.
If you are the praying sort, please pray for them.
