An Open Letter To @sneak

I saw that in an effort to combat spamming, an effort I heartily applaud, I notice that you've been flagging comments by Hive account@familyprotection. Hive account@familyprotection is an organization that supports families and children around the world in their effort to prevent abuses by CPS, foster care and other similar government agencies. Their comment is to let authors know that their post has been upvoted and resteemed- that's all. Many people depend on Hive account@familyprotection as a voice for their own issues with these agencies. For example, in my own case, I had to borrow $3000 for legal expenses and am having to power down to pay it back. Steemit is my only source of income and like many others depend on Hive account@familyprotection. By flagging these wonderful people, you're hurting real people- people who are already in a sensitive situation. CPS/foster care abuse often results in children being forced into the child trafficking pipeline... Only a complete psychopath or sadistic pedophile would support something like that- and I'm positive you're neither.

I'm sure that you're a really good guy whose only purpose is to stop spamming on Steemit- I wish I had the juice to join you in that effort! But Hive account@familyprotection is not one of the people that abuses the Steemit platform... in fact they are the opposite- they're what every group should aspire to be, a very necessary public service and a credit to Steemit. Thank you in advance, I'm sure that as a credit to Steemit yourself, you'll take this to heart.
