Kids are not a commodity. It's undoubted truth for all humans, but who says creatures who sell kids are humans?..
Orphanages are created to save and protect kids who need help, or who were left by their parents. It must be places of protection and calmness, but nowawadays it's just a market...
This story is one of thousand typical stories about kids who temporarily live in orphanages. There're different difficult situation in life, when parents just need to give their child to such a place for a definite period of time, while they impove living conditions or find a job, or improve health.
Parents give their kids to orphanages, but they still are their parents, nobody deprives them their parental rights! All documents prove it: this step is just a necessity to change life conditions, parents give their kids under the state's care and control. But they even don't expect what really happens behind doors of orphanages.
This story is told by one family who was seeking for a baby for adoption for a long time. They looked through the adoption database every day, until the represenative of one of the orphanages didn't tell them that in that database there were only a small part of all babies whom they could adopt.
What? How is it possible? Who are the rest of children? Why are'n't they in the official database?
Parents were schocked and worried, but they agreed to follow this advice to investigate the situation.
The social worker srated to send them dozens of photos of different kids, telling how splendid and healthy they all were, and how they all were waiitng for good moms and dads.
At first parents hope that it's just a bureaucratic delay, and all these kids would be in the official database very soon, they just had a chance to see them earlier. But then the social worker said one small detail - parents had to PAY FOR A BABY $1,500!!
Why? For what?! And here the truth was opened..
The fact is that all these babies who are out of the official adoption database STILL HAVE PARENTS!
They're so called "social orphans", so parents just TEMPORARILY give them to an orphanage to solve some life problems. But social workers don't miss any chance to find profit and propose these kids to potential parents!
In the case, if adoptive parents choose any of these social orphans, social workers start to persuade real parents to write a renouncement from their baby.
If it doesn't work, and parents reject, then they contact CPS and start to find for reasons for depriving them their parental rights to make adoption possible. Money is divided, as far as we understand. CPS and workers of orphanages are always coworkers in such illegal schemes.
So, as a result we have broken families, kids who lose their native parents forever, and satisfied and happy CPS workers and representatives of orphanages who can sell a baby.
So little money, but such a great tragedy of broken hearts.
