No parents at schools! It sounds shocking but it's our reality during 3 years.
Parents are not allowed to enter a school.
First it was Covid, now it’s a terrorist threat.
In both cases, it turns out that parents pose a threat to the safety of educational institutions. The question arises, why inside of a school parents can be "criminals and terrorists" and outside they are just parents who live with their kids??
Let's see the analysis about the illegality of such restrictions.
The heads of educational institutions justify the introduction of such bans either by preventing “Covid” or by “anti-terrorist” measures.
The school administration can refer to SanPiN, and to the PPRF dated October 7, 2017 No. 1235, and to the orders of various other authorities...
What does the law say?
Legal representatives (parents) of children can not have any bans to entering educational organisations where kids study.
The law does not impose a ban on parents entering school (and even classrooms or household premises) for the purpose of accompanying children.
While a kid is under 18, his parents are a part of the educational process, and there are no rules which can reject it, since:
▪according to paragraph 1 of Art. 64 of the Family Code, the protection of the rights and interests of children is entrusted to their parents;
▪according to Art. 63 of the Family Code, every parent has the primary right to raise their child;
▪according to paragraphs. 5 paragraph 3 art. 44 273-FL, parents have the right to protect the rights and legitimate interests of students.
What do we have now?
Parents wait kids outside schools and even outside a school fence! Like a herd!
When you know the school well, it can be Ok, but when your kid is a pupil of the 1st form! he has never been there, he doesn't know anything inside, parents can't see educational process, they don't see a classroom, where theitr kid spends a half of a day, they know NOTHING.
They just lead a kid there in the morning, and then take him away, behind the fence....
