Hello steemians welcome to another beautiful day and my blog, over the past week i have been writting and post article about my fish pond, reconstruction and maintainers.
Today i want to share my experience with local market women traders who visited my fish farm to buy fully matured catfish and what i learnt from them.
MY ENCOUNTER WITH LOCAL FISH TRADERS
My quest so far on fish farming has been more than amazing, i have learnt from everyone at each stage of my fish career. Months ago my fish was due for harvest and i had to seek out for local trader who buy fishes but the the main aim of reselling it.
They are different stages of fish distribution which includes;
- The fish farmer's (they cultivate this fishes into full maturity stage)
- The local market trader's (they purchase this fishes directly from the farmer's for the primary purpose of reselling them to the main consumers)
- The consumer (the buy from the local market trader's for the main purpose of consuming the fishes are food).
Under fish production and distribution the local trader's play a vital role and without them they would be a limited access to fish distribution to the final customers, and a little secret no one will tell you is that; the local trader's make more profit than the fish farms, but time will not allow me to explain in details but in my next post i will.
