Pepper as a vegetable has different variants such as Black Pepper, Cubeb, Indian Long Pepper, Indonesian Long Pepper, Ashanti Pepper, Bell Pepper, and Cayenne Pepper e.t.c
The one commonly in use in this part of the world is the BELL PEPPER. They are actually spices with hot and pungent taste used for preparing meals or adding flavour to particular recipes.
It usually comes in different colours such as green, yellow, orange and red. Anyways the most common of them is the red colour.

METHODS OF GROWING PEPPER
Bell peppers are usually grown from the seed and grown indoors about eight weeks before the frost free date.
The seedlings are normally buried in the soil and watered on a daily basis, within a week the seedlings should have made an appearance.
It should be noted that regularly weeding should be done so as to help the pepper grow well, the pepper plants should also be properly fertilised , then when the pepper is fully ripe, the pepper can be picked from the plant.
STORAGE METHODS FOR PEPPERS
Peppers should be placed in plastic bags and refrigerated.
It can be dried in an oven as a means of storage.
It can be stored by canning.
