I will begin by asking the following question; Have you given up on trying to keep up with the latest fashion trends? Well, before you decide to finally get off the fashion train, there is one new trend to consider. Introducing “Nose Hair Extensions.” Yes, you read it correctly! That embarrassing booger catching hair just may have have become an asset!
Gret_Chen_Chen, an Instagram user, posted a photo of herself wearing eyelash extensions around her nostrils. She called them “nose hair extensions.” FOX26 reported she wore the eyelashes as a joke but the photo went viral on the Internet and the trend caught on.
The beauty blogger Taylor R, stated the hairs appeared to look like “spiders or cockroaches crawling out of your face.” Others went on with comments. Laura Levinson, the senior beauty editor at Pop Sugar, told FOX5. "I think it's really fun for people to take a break from the workday and look at something maybe a little inspiring or and just have a break or moment to enjoy that.." A few people are even considering wearing the “nose hair extension” as part of Halloween costumes this year.
Not having your eyes water when you have to pull those pesky buggers out does sound tempting! As for myself, I gave it a little thought and decided to go on ahead and fall off the fashion train. I will take a pass on extending my nose hair! Will you? - The Homesteader
