Line in dress designing:
The line is attributed to the side or perimeter of the dress and the decorative cutters that decorate the interior of the dress.
The line generates visual error. Vertical lines make the limbs louder or shorter. Horizontal lines show the body shorter or highlight parts of the body. Because the eye follows the line, The line draws the viewer's attention to specific areas and separates it from other parts. Straight, diagonal and curved lines are used to design clothes.
Vertical line:
The strongest line is in terms of impact.
It has a concept of standing and solidity, showing strength, endurance, sustainability and activity.
Represents human standing.
The standing line brings the concept of balance and self confidence.This line brings up the sight to the top.
If this line too narrow on the top and too wide on the bottom, it seems taller and stretched ,because in this form, the vision is continuous and continuous, such as conical or parallel shapes.
Horizontal line:
Represents peace and quiet.

The characteristics of this line are in the opposite of the vertical line. Implies the width and fattening.
