Mr Green wearing his 11 years old shirt in 2022
I first wore this shirt in September 2011 during the Clean Up the World Weekend.
It’s my first official shirt with an environmental message and I bought the shirt from a thrift store. This means the shirt may be older than 13 years from when it was made.
My friend, Awantoh Serge of Homeboy Arts and Designs printed the Clean Up the World/The Greens messages in front of the shirt and at that time, TTL3G was my first environmental project.
I have kept this shirt for the past 11 years and it’s one thing that I’ll love to pass on to future generations.

This year, I wore the shirt during a Plastic Pollution and Theatre Arts workshop, I was facilitating. I decided to wear the Shirt to remind participants of the training on the need to care for the environment and that one way of caring for the environment is via sustainable use of our clothes.
My wish is to keep this shirt for as long as I can and wear it to an award or pass it on to any young environmentalist who is leading the change in his/her community.
