Marriage as an important event for everyone, it is necessary to be sacred and remembered so that there needs to be a ceremony. The wedding ceremony is traditionally carried out according to local customary rules. In a mixed marriage, the bride and groom usually choose one of the customs, or sometimes the two customs are used in separate events.
In Aceh it is called Tueng Dara Baro, one of a series of marriages or in Indonesian it is called receiving the bride. This procession is carried out after Intat Linto Baro or escorting the groom to the bride's residence. Peusijuek is taken from the Acehnese sijuek which means cold, so peusijuek can be interpreted to cool or cool. After the procession was over, the baro virgin had to be left by her escort group and had to stay at her husband's house for a few nights. After a few days the husband and wife started a new life.
