Hello and fellow featheredfriday enthusiasts.
Yes, I did, I followed a bush turkey when I was out walking with my camera almost up to my eye. Bush turkeys are very erratic scuttling here there and everywhere at the drop of a hat.
We have a thriving community of these turkeys near my surf beach. They live a wonderful life digging holes all over the place finding worms and all things to eat. There are plenty of trees and bush to retreat to when dogs, noisey walkers and fast cyclists come too close.
So one has to be quick to get a reasonable photo of these non-flying fast walking birds. I spotted this busy bush turkey who seemed to be on a missions somewhere.

Down the path he walked right in front of me, how opportune to follow a bush turkey.
He kept going out of the garden onto the curb! This is peak hour traffic right now Mr bush turkey!

And yes onward he walked - onto the road.

Brave or stupid? Nuh, just brainless! But give them their due, I have never seen one run over!
Cheers
