Yesterday was holi, THE FESTIVAL OF COLOURS!! In India we celebrate it with great enthusiasm. Every one keeps aside their grunches and celebrate it with every known individual.
Here basically the powdered Colors are used and water, the people splash water mixed with Colors on each other also can use dry Colors.
Not only Colors but they also eat a sweetdish called "Gujia" and a drink named "Bhang". With much love and happiness this festival of Colors is celebrated.
Holi is basically celebrated due to two reasons-
the first one is to celebrate the commencement of spring season beacause it is full of Colors so it is celebrated through Colors. And the second one is followed by a Hindu legend of hiranyakashap and his sister Holika.
Thus this festival brings lots of happiness and a change from winter to colorfull spring.
Even many foreigners also celebrates it, as it is full of love and fun!
