Magandang buhay💚
Weekend already, and unlike in DD, where we have lots of lazy days, here in BC, our hands are full. Well, mine anyway, as the hubby isn't around. The final paint coating was paused until Monday.
And so, I started laying out my little yard garden. I had been out there most of the day—digging and installing blocks (for plant beds and such). I did come inside the house for snacks, lunch, and to check on my little boy and play with him for a little while each time.
He tends to love sleeping more during the daytime and playing at night. His body clock seems to have gone confused, lol!
Maybe tomorrow, I'll bring out the artificial grass and let him play outside the door. I imagine he will be over the moon, hehe!
But yeah, in my busyness, (I was so engrossed with what I was doing) I didn't realize it was already 6 in the evening until the sky suddenly went dark. It was foggy, so there was no sunset display today (I usually make it my timer).
Geez, I need to make dinner! Quickly took my gloves off, dusted my clothes, and then came in. And just as I thought, Yongi was excited and kept jumping on me. Oh boy, I wouldn't want him getting dirty (yet), especially since he had just been bathed yesterday.
Anyway, showered first, then quickly whisked tuna flakes for the Lil Guy. We ran out of veggies! My supper? I turned the leftover rice and air-fried chicken into a bowl of congee. I didn't need an hour or so to prepare it since the main ingredients were already cooked. I think it was a healthier option than popping a pack of instant noodles, lol!
So yep, tummy filled. And although muscles are a little sore from the week's chores, the soul is very satisfied. It's a Saturday well-spent!
